Brittany and Brenton met during their teens in the halls of Brodhead High School. Brittany was a senior and Brenton, a sophomore. Neither of them knew, however, at that age that they would eventually be standing hand-in-hand at the top of the aisle reciting vows to eachother. The two eventually caught eachother's eyes after each of their best friends had been dating. They began discussing their tastes in music and how Brittany hated country music, until Brenton introduced her to Eric Church. The two began going to concerts together and have been inseperable since.

Brittany and Brenton moved to an apartment in Beloit to begin their life together. Brittany began her teaching job in Kenosha, while Brenton welded in Whitewater. They continued finding things they had in common, and one of those: antiquing. These simple hobbies may seem boring to other people, but became a huge part of these two's life. After about three years together, the two went on a date downtown Milwaukee, where Brenton proposed on top of a bridge overlooking Lake Michigan.
